Veterinary...

Clear, on demand communication in rural areas is a challenge for any technology; for example, cellular phone coverage is sparse and un-reliable as coverage follows revenue. Few local users results in poor or no coverage.

Gould Electronics on the other hand delivers telephone grade speech quality throughout the rural areas of Cornwall. The radio system is capable not only of delivering clear speech but it also offers the capability for vehicle location and calls to telephone land lines.

Penbode Veterinary Group supports the rural farming community in Cornwall. Practice Manager Ian Lorraine says “On demand communication is essential for the efficient day to day running of the practice. Often our vets are out all day and at night. Reliable communications allows us to keep in close contact offering help and support where required. Gould Electronics’ radio network offers us a grade of service at almost every location we have ever been in the county. Our clients benefit from quicker response times and we benefit from the health and safety aspect for our vets”. The radio network has a direct link to a message handling service for contact in out of hours situations.
