Gould’s have a vast experience installing and managing commercial antennas for customers such as emergency services through to councils and bespoke wireless network coverage of complete islands.

We are now extending our capabilities to include domestic antennas for terrestrial digital television broadcasts and community wireless networks offering broadband coverage.

Television aerials and satellite dishes for all home television system

Gould’s now install television aerials and satellite dishes for all home television systems. Whether it is for a Sky+ HD box or a Freeview TV it is important that you have the correct aerial connected to maximise signal strength and therefore improve the quality of your TV viewing. Gould’s will work with you to create the best solution for your needs, our professional installers will ensure that you receive the best digital signal possible to make sure your television viewing is trouble free.

With the analogue signal being turned off in 2012 it is important that your TV system is ready for the digital takeover. There are several different digital packages available, some free and some for a fee, and several different ways of receiving them. Below are examples of the various packages available through an aerial or satellite dish.

Freesat – a free satellite service with over 150 TV and radio channels including HD channels and BBC iPlayer. Requires a satellite dish.

 



Sky Digital TV – a paid for satellite service with a huge range of TV, radio and interactive services. Sky Digital can be tailored to your individual needs through the purchase of different packages including sports and movies. The Sky+ HD box allows the viewer to pause and rewind live TV as well as record programmes or a series straight on to it. Requires a satellite dish.

 



Freeview – a free service with over 70 TV and radio channels now with the ability to view HD channels, record programmes and pause and rewind live TV with the new Freeview+ HD set top box. Requires a digital compatible aerial.

 



Top Up TV – a subscription service allowing paid for channels to be viewed through a Freeview set top box. By purchasing a top up card and inserting it in to your set top box you can view extra channels including the Sky Sports package and movie channels.
